Loved it!
I felt really invested in the characters, EK does an excellent job of showing us who they are even if neither of them is a perfect person. Yes some things were a bit cheesy but c'mon it's romance. Admittedly, there are some problematic moments but nothing that really hindered me from enjoying the book.
There were so many sweet moments and I enjoyed the trajectory of their relationship. I feel like I fell for our hero a little bit too.
Oddly, I don't know if I'm enamoured enough to read the next book but this story is a strong stand-alone and worth the read.
