Wow.
This was a book club pick for me, and I sidnt know what I was getting into. I love, not only our strong FMC, but her thoughtful husband, the portrayal of mothering children that are so different from each other, and the battles of women against misogynistic men.
I cheered when people were put in their place, and sat agast at times when when arrogance won the day.
A hard story with beautiful moments and people shining in the darkness.
