I adore Talia Hibbert's writing. If she would stop referencing an antisemitic transphobe in literally ALL of her books, I would like them even more. Not just that, but if she could properly trigger warning her books. The entire Brown Sisters Trilogy has themes of car accidents but not once is there a warning for that. Car-related trauma is not taken seriously by the book community. In fact, it’s joked about and made into a lighthearted joke several times throughout this trilogy. Anyway, I really liked this first book! I read it in one four-hour sitting. Chloe and Red had a delightful dynamic. Chole was Autistic coded as fuck, which was a very fun reading experience as an Autistic reviewer. I loved all of the cat love in this. The sex scenes were done beautifully, as always. It was a very fun time! I loved Red's past and seeing him unpack and try to heal from the trauma his past relationship left. I think it was handled great!

CWs/TWs: HP reference, chronic illness, car accident, sexual content, toxic relationship (past).
