i absolutely adored this book. i love stories that play with time & the possibilities that could exist in alternate universes; this reminded me a lot of the time traveler’s wife and addie larue. this book was not only beautifully-written but also so delicately crafted — the intricacies to each story and its timeline were masterful. also, as someone who experienced significant emotional abuse from a previous partner, i felt really seen by the portrayal of cora. in moments, it was really hard to read, but i also feel so rewarded for having read it. after getting to the end, i just want to re-read it again so i can appreciate it even more.
