Green River, Running Red: The Real Story of the Green River Killer - America's Deadliest Serial Murderer by Ann Rule

4.0

This is my first Ann Rule read and I can see how she had been able to create a career as prolific as she had. Rule does a phenomenal job at humanizing the victims and reminding the reader that they are more than just props in a killer's story. She is also very sympathetic towards sex workers which is actually kind of rare in true crime media. The only reason I'm giving this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because of my own personal taste. When I read true crime books I'm more interested in the psychology behind the act and this book focused more on the hunt of Gary Ridgeway. Still a very worthwhile read!
