Like with Strange the Dreamer, this book is getting way too complicated and losing me now. The human world invasion, the Stelian subplots, the tie-ins with the Strange the Dreamer universe-- I'm just getting so tired and cranky. I just want my payoff for the peace between our main characters!

Also, this is the book where the purple prose really started bothering me. I felt like I skimmed a lot of the book without losing the plot because of how much unnecessarily flowery writing there was.
