Whew! Stephanie, girl. I didn’t know you had it in you! You definitely had me blushing at many points of the story.
The best way I can articulate what I feel about this story, without spoiling anything, is that is felt like a werewolf shifter romance, without there being any paranormal aspects to the story. Like…. The language used, and Royce’s characterization he was giving ???wolf shifter vibes??? You would have to read it to see what I mean.
That being said, I give this book a 3.5. The traitor subplot was abysmal. It always interrupted the flow of the story, and it made the ending just drag out. It was supposed to be an intense moment, but I found myself rolling my eyes, and skimming the pages to get through it.
