One day, I want an FMC to respond appropriately to being

whizzed off to a new world populated by a previously thought extinct species.

  A panic attack would have been completely justified.  Not just getting to work and oogling the broody man in the corner.
Overall though, I was completely sucked in by the 60% mark.  I really enjoyed the story and am looking forward to the next one!
