This book was a roller coaster bc I liked the female lead (and the male lead definitely grew on me as it went along) but the male narrator of the audiobook was too ridiculous to take seriously and the writing from his perspective in particular was SO cringey.

Audiobook version only problem, but Beckett's Australian accent was all over the place, from sentence to sentence even!!!

Five chili pepper spice but SUCH cringey dialogue, honestly, you have been warned.
