So, dark romance is not my thing. That being said, this was a shade lighter than expected and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The spice is steamy, bordering CNC, where the MMC falls first. Some of the kinks weren't my cup of tea, but I was still able to read through the scenes.
I loved that the storyline didn't center around the typical rise/fall and the pacing was good. A good balance of spice to character building.
The *BANTER* was 100/10 and I genuinely loved both MCs. And Fred 🐱
