  • I cannot imagine finishing Assassin's Quest in 1 or 2 days, like my mind, my body, my soul, my heart could NOT do it. I could barely do it with as much progress as I could everyday because damn I love this book and this character but Fitz is going through A LOT.
  • I feel like listening to this audiobook was just taking energy from me but I was also sad thinking about how it would all be over soon. It’s such a weird feeling because this is not the last time that I will see this characters so that's something good but I also do not want this to end. I mean I want his pain to stop but this trilogy is just so good. Thank God there are other two trilogies with Fitz on them, I truly cannot bare to part from him. I love him too much.
  • I think I just found the perfect pair of words to describe this book and that is "emotionally exhausting", that's what it is because Fitz goes through SO much pain, and I feel like I've connected to him so I was the one feeling that pain.
  • I found another way to describe this trilogy but especially this last book "emotionally draining" and I have learnt to never read 25% of a Robin Hobb book in one day. It feels like it was a mistake but at the same time it's finally over. And yet I don't think I've ever felt this way with a book and characters. Emotionally draining and yet so glad I read it and entered this world and discovered this author. Fitz is an unique character and the love and the way I feel towards him is quite unique too I can't put it in words. I feel like I need to recover and take a break for a couple of days.
  • This is a 5 ⭐ and this trilogy and main character are one of my favorites now!
