The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting: Raising Children with Courage, Compassion, and Connection by Brené Brown

5.0

This book is for anyone with a body and with friends. We are constantly parenting ourselves and those around, because none of us had perfect parents and we all need to learn new ways in relating to ourselves and others.

She says we teach children about boundaries by how we set and hold the, the same is true with those around us. We teach others about our boundaries by how we set and hold them, and people follow suit.

So if, like me, you are trying to now raise yourself in this complex and challenging world, I hope you read this book.
