I’ve been wanting to read Austen for years and finally got the chance to. It took me longer than usual with the prose, but I did not much much. After reading so many books that were the literary equivalent of potato chips, this novel felt like a full meal.
I’ve managed to avoid watching any of the film adaptations so I knew very little about the plot and I enjoyed every moment of it. Can’t wait to finally get to watch the movies, and to read more of Austen’s work.
