there are better abby jimenez books and this one was not it.
the characters are hooked from the first date and it feels very fast. some argue that sam is lovable but I’m unsure as to how by the lack of development early on. they go back and forth in a LDR, but we don’t feel their longing and how hard it is for them until the end where finances and health is impacted. this book could’ve captured the yearning and difficulties that come from being +2k miles apart.that way the happy ending is even happier. i got through this book a lot faster than any of her other books
