Great worldbuilding, mixing fantasy and WW2 era technology. Brian paints a gritty and compelling picture of a platoon at the end of their rope but still hanging on.
Audiobook narrator was a bit too straight laced IMO for such a gritty book, but did do a good job being articulate, clear, and not grating to listen to!
