Yes
Diverse cast of characters:
No
Flaws of characters a main focus:
Yes
Again absolutely loved this.
The character development is stronggggg.
Lottie was a workaholic, saw herself as a figure head for stability and dedication and undeserving of love. Nolan was hard-headed, defeated and lost.
Lottie learned to balance work and life, have fun in life with the people she loves. Whilst she’s still stabile she is able to take herself away from work when necessary. And eventually sees herself as deserving of love and clearly revels in the affection Nolan gives her. Nolan’s softer side comes out which is truly lovely to witness. He worked hard for what he wanted and ultimately realised he wanted to move forward with his career. No longer lost, no longer defeated. Just a man madly in love.
And I absolutely loved that they worked on themselves alone and together. Growth is a culmination of people and circumstances and mindset. Doing that alone is hard as is doing it with someone else. I like how they wanted to heal and be better for not only eachother, but for themselves.
