This was everything I wanted from a small town, single dad romance!!

・❥・ I was hooked after like 5 pages. Even just the beginning that Elsie wrote at the lake with the bear, loved it!!

・❥・ Weston and Skylar matched so well together, for me it wasn‘t just words when we were told how much they liked each other. I could truly feel their chemistry and I believed every single word.

・❥・ Why was Cherry everything?? I love little additions like pets or something that just give the book so much more!!

・❥・ This was my second Elsie book and the writing didn‘t disappoint me a single second. For real, I don‘t know how someone is this talented and has such a funny but gripping writing, that isn‘t just surface level but can go into deep topics and make you think.

・❥・ Weston is HOT oml. And the smut?? It was just perfect.

・❥・ I loved Skylar‘s development and seeing her slowly but surely become more self confident, standing up for herself and seeing her own worth.

・❥・ I loved West as a MMC since he was so mature and that specifically made him even more attractive.

ꕥ The only thing that annoyed me sometimes was that I thought that the children weren‘t that well made. They were cute, don‘t get me wrong, but I think that a lot of the time that wasn‘t really how 6 year olds talk, so that kinda threw me off sometimes.

ꕥ The second teeny tiny thing that I would‘ve wished for more were the E-Mails. I already enjoyed them in Wild Love so much that I would‘ve appreciated a little more in this installment, since even the little „headlines“ from West were so cute.

Nonetheless I enjoyed this big time and seriously can‘t wait for Wild Side. I just love everything about this series, the characters, the vibes, the small town setting, the banter and much more!! This was really close to a 5-star, I just didn‘t get those feelings but I still adored this so much.
