Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear

5.0

"You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems."

This book was something else. The author explains the four steps of building habits that stick and gives concrete examples of each. He also explains how to get rid of negative habits by placing more friction in their path, and how to facilitate good habits by removing any friction from their path.

The author also focused on explaining how are habits work like compound interest in terms of predicting what our futures look like and why that should motivate us to act now in implementing habits that are aligned with our personal visions of our respective futures.

One of the most eye opening revelations for me in this book was the distinction between systems and goals. I could go on and on in singing this book's praises; however, instead, I will encourage you dear reader to pick up a copy yourself, as I can guarantee that this book will be a treasured addition to your library and it will certainly transform your life.
