i love héléne so much omg. she is funny and

her sister dies and she mourns for like a month and then is like “whateva she was ruining the vibe anyway” iconic

and i know the whole point of the book is that the king of france is paying her to go and get married, but

the fact that it was her dads best friend was a little suspect 😭 i mean they did have chemistry and he was a super great guy it was just such a big age gap but that’s history i suppose

overall i love this book so much
