Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King

4.0

The psychological thriller "Dolores Claiborne" reads as a long monologue from the main character, Dolores. This is her statement to the police during their investigation on whether or not Dolores has just killed her employer.

Dolores is a wonderfully well written and realistic character. She is interesting, complex and very sympathetic. Her family, particularly her daughter and husband, are equally interesting and realistic as characters. If you’re anything like me you’ll find it hard to put the book down, especially since it reads as one long chapter, and if you’re a fast reader you’ll most likely find yourself finishing the novel before you allow yourself to go to sleep.

If you like psychological thrillers, or are a Stephen King fan like me, I absolutely recommend it.
