Unlike the other Jennifer Crusie books I've read, this one had a vaguely supernatural bit, which I didn't like. I know, it surprised me, too.
Maybe This Time was fairly typical Crusie--independent and strong female main character, some life difficulties, a hot dude to sleep with. However, there were ghosts. The ghosts were real. That freaked me out. I couldn't sleep. Everything else was fabulous.
