This book, like the first one, tended to be a little confusing at times. You were never really sure whether Jude was actually doing some of the things, or if Mara was just crazy. I guess maybe that was with intent though, since all the actions got cleared up when Mara and Noah found the video footage in Kells' office .

I thought the explanation as to why Mara and Noah are as they are was intriguing, and I definitely was not expecting it. Although, it adds further intrigue to how

Noah's mother and Mara's grandmother were connencted. Because if Mara's grandmother had the same ability as she had, does that mean that the study began before Noah/Mara/etc.? And what about the whole grandma-not-aging thing? Hm... I guess we'll see. Oh, and I'm pretty sure Noah is not dead.
