I really enjoyed this one! It was a pretty lengthy read, but it never felt like I was trying to crest Mt Everest to finish it; it kept me hooked the whole time. Raeveās determination to make the world around her a better place turning into an Icarus-style need for revenge definitely had me exasperated at times (you just want her to take the good things when they come!), but it felt very realistic for her story. I LOVE the plot with The Other and am excited to see how that pans out more in book 2!
Graphic: Body horror, Death, Gore, Murder
Moderate: Cannibalism
