What It Feels Like for a Girl by Paris Lees

dark emotional funny hopeful inspiring reflective sad tense medium-paced

5.0

One of the best books I hav  read in a long time. Personally I loved that it was written in Nottingham vernacular, it made it feel very intimate and immersive. Although it is autobiographical it is written like fiction which I enjoyed, I don't like when autobiographies feel like a factual retelling of events, I want to enjoy the story. One of the best examples of trans representation I've ever read.
