this is one of the strongest debut collections I have ever read! So funny & dense when it needs to be & witholding & queer as fuck & black af & southern & kind & — I could say everything, but instead I will say you should read it! Be ready to wrestle with language, & take away what you know to be true & what makes you uncomfortable about religion & honesty.
