Until It Was Love by Pippa Grant

5.0

please note that the trigger warnings and topes/themes may contain spoilers
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: yes
POV: dual 1st person POV (with a fun epilogue from a surprise character)
spice: several open-door spicy scenes
TWs: career ending injury, mentions of death/dark humor relating to death, divorce, cheating, friendship breakup, fire (non-fatal)
standalone: yes
final thoughts: I loved this book! For me, the banter was funny without being overdone. Their relationship progressed in a believable way and was so fun to follow. This a true grumpy/sunshine with a MMC who is a grump through-and-through and you don’t get to see a lot of his cinnamon roll nature even in his POV chapters (except when he’s interacting with his teeny tiny little dog- SWOON).
The female friendships in this story were SO FUNNY and I loved their banter as much as the banter between the MCs. I think this story could easily been book 1 in a series if Pippa Grant wanted to stay in this world a little longer… I know I do!
