Fantastic!
Finally got to read this festive Discworld novel and it was a riot!
Well, to be honest, it was a bit hard to get into at first. But that is what happens with almost every Pratchett novel for me. Because he just puts the reader in the middle of a well-established world without any warning, I am usually just a confused mess for the first third of the book. But I trust him and by the end it always pays off. Especially the last third of this book was just so fun and brilliant.
Any time I finish a Pratchett novel I always feel the urge to read an academical paper or discussion on it, in order to understand fully what had happened. Because I am almost %100 sure that I do not get some of the more subtle references. Let's face it: Pratchett was a genius, but it's usually quite hard to understand them 😅
