I had a lot of high hopes for this one but I ended up pretty bored through most of it. I will say I’m surprised that this is definitely a sci-fi rather than a fantasy and the way they explained some of those details was really interesting. I was really thinking 3/4 of the way through that I wasn’t going to continue with this but the ending hooked me and has me wanting to see what else this story has to share. The concept of the gods is very interesting and provides an unpredictable side plot of the story. Not sure if I’ll wait for the next book or just look up the webcomic.
