Here Goes Nothing by Eamon McGrath

4.0

Currently on goodreads this book has a 2.53 star rating which I think is grossly unfair. So I’m maybe inflating my rating a bit to balance it out. (3.2/5)

It’s a short, autobiographical musing on this guys time as a touring guitarist. It so short it’s more like a slice of life than an autobiography.

I can understand a lot of the criticisms, especially the sound effects to the audiobook off-putting some people, I personally enjoyed the ambiance but it was a bit nails on chalkboard in some places. But the actual writing of the book I thought was really charming in places! A little over written but he managed to vividly create the atmosphere, with some lovely and really interesting wording.
