This is not a bad start to a crime series. Its a decent read and it kept me entertained.
It didn't keep me on the edge of my seat. I was curious and the narrator couldn't read it fast enough so I switched to reading just to get more detail. I found Nick a really good character, he is well spoken and seems to have a good sense of right and wrong.
I wasn't keen on the ending. I liked how it wrapped up and to be honest I didn't guess who was behind it all just when I found out how Jake had died I was like ah well that is a let down. Its not as good as it should have been or could have been and that is a shame.
Not sure I'll go onto the next book this series isn't my usual cup of tea.
