Black Girl Magic: A Poem by Mahogany L. Browne

5.0

Saw this book at Books-A-Million while browsing the store. I was attracted to the cover of the book. I found it kind of ironic because I was debating whether to go into the bookstore or not but decided to go in anyway. I wanted to find a good poetry book so as I walking down the isle I saw this book. Never heard of the author so decided to open the book and when I read...Black Girl They Say You Ain't 'Posed To Be Here drew me in. Not to mention the artwork which is gorgeous. Kuddos to Jess X. Snow. Loved the book and decided to buy it. A book All black girls should read.
