I guess I'm a Mifune stan now?
(Not) Joking aside, this was an incredibly well done book, both in terms of writing and research. I'm so heartbroken there are films mentioned that I will never be able to see. I would love love to see an updated version of this book, and how perceptions of these two men and their work may have changed in the last twenty years.
