The smut was solid, the relationship wasn't. The MMC is 42 years old and still acting like a teenager, I swear. Allll this back and forth and "no we can't" to "but we want to" and then they have sex again and then there's angst again. Started out so good but, like other have said, this definitely didn't need to be 400+ pgs.
