I do like a cozy mystery, they generally make for a light entertaining read, but I don't know if I'm going to continue with this series. The main protagonist is just so annoying. I got very tired of her generally condescending attitude to the other characters, particularly the police. The author also had her go on a random rant about the pointlessness of "political correctness". I waited for anything mentioned to have some relevance to the plot but nope. Just another mark against the whole thing. We'll see. Maybe time will make my annoyance fade and I'll give the 3rd one a try at some point, but it won't be any time soon.
