Having just read this as an audio book, I have yet to put the meditations into regular practice, but I've been inspired to do so by this book and how it promises to tackle the anxieties of modern life.

I'm a believer in self-help to some extent, as much as I'm a believer in positive thinking and positive brain power and its ability to achieve results. so I was intrigued to read about the theories behind the Mindfulness practices.

simply put, these ideas are easy and you are encouraged to fit several practice's into your everyday life over an 8 week period. Well written and with a sense of accomplishment prior to even starting the meditation itself, ive been encouraged to take Mindfulness further.
