I enjoyed reading the saga of the Langdon's, and the references to topical issues from the past 30 years in this final edition of the Last Hundred Years trilogy. The book falls down a bit, as others have stated, in the final sections with speculation of the future. I certainly hope she's wrong about the president (he) among other things - very dark. Smiley Is an excellent writer and I will seek out her other novels.
