Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

This book was extremely boring and slow. I got half way through it and that in itself was a struggle I put it down more times than I can remember.  What should have taken 1 day for me to complete took 3 days to get half way through.  I even tried skipping to the last two chapters to understand the ending,  but even so,  I still couldn't finish it.
