Thank you to the publisher and author for sending me an ARC in return for an honest review!
A Royal’s Game is a mystery filled YA fantasy book that kept me on my toes and had me screaming at characters at times!
Stella is one of three people chosen from the workhouses to live at the palace for a year and wow what a year she lives. She is determined to find out what secrets they are hiding and what is truly going on in the world, and finds herself learning the truth about the royal family. I can see the beginnings of a found family, and the cast of characters are all so interesting to read about. The magic system was super interesting, and i’d love to read even more about it in future books. This is a book filled with love, betrayal, secrets, magic and at its core is about what it means to be a teenage girl!
