Living Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris
5.0

Continuing my Sookie binge, which hasn't really been a binge so much as just a straight forward re-read, I'm still really enjoying the series.

I remember really liking this book the first time round and I certainly enjoyed it the second time round. I loved the introduction of more supernatural creatures (the maenad and more shapeshifters and a glimpse of werewolves) and I'm excited to see that progression. I also liked the introduction of the Fellowship of the Sun because they make for great bad guys (they're totally nuts!!!). I'm really looking forward to that developing as well.

I liked that there were basically two mysteries, although I sort of forgot that Lafayette's murder gets set aside for a lot of the book. I was a little bummed about that, but it's such a good book anyway that I got over it pretty quickly. The ending was really intense and I was on the edge of my seat.

I'm really liking my re-read of the series and I can't wait to start book three now.
