Fancy Nancy: Nancy Clancy, Soccer Mania by Jane O'Connor

I do not like the chapter books as much as I like the picture book [b:Fancy Nancy|426625|Fancy Nancy|Jane O'Connor|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1376473636s/426625.jpg|1167774]. The chapter books are told in 3rd person, while the picture books are in 1st person, which makes Nancy more charming. There also aren't as many fancy words in the chapter books, and that's one of my favorite parts of the picture books. Maybe it was this particular subject, but this felt like a slog every time we sat down to read it, and my daughter didn't seem that interested in pulling it out.
