I seriously LOVE Julie Halpern! I feel like everything she writes is SO me lol and I know how dumb that sounds, but I don't care. I think that's what makes this book so great, being able to identify with the main character in several ways. It's not as gut wrenching as I thought it would be and I'm glad, I love the sarcastic, angry and bitter way Alex handles things because it seems so real in comparison to other stories where I just don't buy the way a teen behaves.
