Very, very disappointing. I liked the previous book but felt there was just something missing from making it a 5* read. This had a hell of a lot missing.
It was confusing, boring and repetitive. I couldn’t wait to finish it toward the end. Not only did the author overdo the science fiction element but he also overdid his choice of words. Was there a need to use the word ‘Veresimilitude’ so many bloody times?
Christ. I hope this was a one off and the final book is better.
