The Wet Nurse's Tale by Erica Eisdorfer
4.0

Having nursed three of my own babies, I enjoyed this tale of a clever young wet nurse who relies on her wits to ensure she is never separated from her baby again. Nursing a baby is such a sweet magical act. I always feel a special kindred connection to other nursing mothers, as I did to this story's protagonist, Susan Rose. The history of the profession of wet nursing was quite interesting as well. I only wish the story had not ended so abruptly.
