Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett

4.0

I have heard nothing but good things about Starry Eyes and I have loved other J.B. books, so I had high expectations. Glad to report I was not disappointed.

One of my favorite things, aside from the banter of course because it was top-notch, was the character personalities - Lennon, Zorie, Joy, Sunny, Mac and Avani.

There were moments where I was really worried that the characters were going to make the "cowardly" decision and give in to the antagonists "for the sake of the story". Buuut they didn't and I am so thrilled because I cannot stand soft characters who don't stand up for themselves or what is right. Ex: making excuses for cheating spouses or liars etc.

ALSO, not only did we get graced with one map, but FOUR maps!! They played so well into the story, it was a fun addition.

I definitely recommend this book if you've read any other JB books or if you like banter, solid characters, a little bit of steam and topics with depth and texture.
