I liked the book. It was an emotional rollercoaster if I am being honest. It was rough at some points but there were really good ones. There are plot twists that I didn't expect. Characters are great but not relatable. Maddox is a great character and love interest and the relationship he has with both Sofia and Valentina are amazing. Valentina is one of those characters that you can't hate, she is just a little girl who has been through hell and back and all she wants is to be loved, have a normal family and a normal life. She is the most relatable of the characters. Sofia on the other hand, is a great character but she is one of those you have mixed feelings about. You can love her at some times in the book but hate her in others. She is a great character and has great development but she was not relatable at all whatsover. The relationship with the sisters is immaculate so that was definetly my favorite part of the book. Sofia is simply a bad**s survivor who would do anything to protect her sister. It's a really good book and I would read it again but it is not a book that I will consistently think back on.
