the characters were kinda nah for me personally it felt like they all had this Assigned personality trait and that was as far as they were developed. i can only hope that there will be some actual development in the second part of the series. i liked the story though, it felt original and authentic even though it prolly wasn't (bcus let's be honest no stories are unique anymore) and i liked how auri wasn't a completely mary sue. aside from that i liked that they didn't make everything go great and perfectly bcus i hate hate hate it when shit is completely unrealistic like wdym Nothing goes wrong??
