“who I am” is a question repeated often throughout the book and examines who we are when we become parents, or raised as women, or in face of trauma. Even though some story aspects felt predictable, the way the author paints Mika makes it feel so raw and real. I sit here now just gutted emotionally by that ending. for all those who love stories about complicated women navigate their complicated lives.
