Another amazing novel by Karin Slaughter! I always have such a hard time putting her novels down. This one was the same! Reading about Charlies grieving process at the funeral home took me back to 8 years ago when my mom passed away...completely irrational behaviour! As I shed a few tears for Charlie (because I could relate to her feelings) I suddenly lost it laughing! My local Starbucks was packed as I burst out laughing and everyone looked at me! It was the simple 'You mean, it could kill him if the lid slammed shut?' that had me laughing. Karin, you never cease to amaze me with your amazing writing style!
