The story kicks off with Alix losing her temper and risking her spot on the Canada National Womenโ€™s U18 Team. Desperate to manage her anger, she turns to Ezra for help. Set in British Columbia, the Canadian references add a delightful touch of authenticity. I was particularly impressed with how the novel handled heavy themes like bullying and anger management. The dynamic between Alix and Ezra is sweet and genuine, showcasing the magic of opposites attracting. The coachโ€™s behavior was frustrating and made me really upset, but it was realistically portrayed. I wish the book were longer and can only hope for a sequel. I cannot forget to mention the art... wow! I love the style and can't wait to see more from this artist. I thoroughly enjoyed this feel-good tale and recommend it to fans of "Heartstopper."
