My brother gave me this book because a bad rating that compared it to 100 years of solitude. And boy was I in for a treat. This book had me gripped tight right from the get-go. The magic in this book is right between magic and reality just as magical realism should be. A big recommendation for all who love to explore this zone between magic and reality.
